Success Story: Helping kids find a bed to sleep in

I feel like I have had a lot of successes through this difficult year with my families. I have built relationships, bonded, and grew closer with their children. One success story that has stood out to me was helping a family in need of a bed for their child. The child was sleeping with the parents because they did not have money to buy furniture.

Wanting to help, I contacted Ashley Home Furniture, because they have a program called Hope to Dream. This program believes that every child should have a good night’s sleep and a bed to call their own, and they make that possible.

The process was extremely easy. All I had to do was fill out a request online, and called and followed up. Within days, the family was delivered a brand-new twin-size bed with a new comforter set and pillows! I was so pleased and will definitely reach out to them again if I have another family with this need.

Ashley Home Furniture was so easy to talk to and the process was a breeze. The mom sent me a picture of the child in her new bed and I knew I had done my job, helping a family in a time of need.
